Q.Does the price include set up and delivery?
A.The price you see on our website is the base price. Some rental items are available for free customer pickup at our location by appointment. Complex items or rentals over 100 lb must be delivered and set up by AmazEvent staff. The amount of your delivery fee will be based on the mileage to the location your event is being held at. Delivery charges include delivery, setup and pick. Delivery prices start at $24 and increase, the further out your event is from our location in Ogden, Utah. Please keep in mind, our delivery fee factors in set up, take down, travel time and fuel expenses to and from your location for delivery and again for pick up.
Q.Do you deliver to cities not listed at checkout?
A.Yes, but please be aware that long distance travel reduces the amount of business we are able to do locally. The additional drive time, loss of local orders and gas contribute to a much higher delivery fee. Please call our office for a current quote.
Q.Does the standard 4 hour rental time include your set up time?
A.We do not rent our units using the standard 4 hour rule. All of our rentals are for up to 24 hours for the price listed. Your rental time begins at the time you scheduled for us to arrive and begin set up or at the time that you choose to arrive to pick up your order. If we arrive early, it does not deduct from your rental time.
Q.When do you set up?
A.It depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 0-3 hours before the scheduled rental set up time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set upych earlier. We will notify you ahead of time of any adjustments that may need to be made to your prior scheduled times. Almny changes must be approved by you. If we have not contacted you within 24 hours of your scheduled delivery and you'd like to know when to expect us, please call 801-603-1522.
Q.We've rented some really dirty jumps from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?
A.No. The jump should be clean when you get it. AmazEvent Party Rentals cleans, inspects and disinfects after every rental.
Q.Do we have to keep it plugged in the entire time?
A.Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That's why we require an outlet within 50 feet of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.
Q.What about parks? Do parks have electricity?
A.We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you may need to rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost.
Q.What payments do you take?
A.Cash, Venmo, PayPal or Credit/Debit Cards. If paying by cash, please have exact change as our drivers do not carry change.
Q.What if we need to cancel?
A.We do not offer refunds. In the event that you need to cancel, we will issue you a raincheck that is good for up to 2 years.
Q.Do you require a deposit?
A.Yes all orders require a 25% deposit. The amount paid is non-refundable. In the event you need to cancel or reschedule, you will be given a rain check that is good for 2 years.
Q.What surfaces do you set up on?
A.We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.
Q.Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?
A.Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office.
Q.Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?
A.Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
